Hi, I’m Risa! I’m a passionate Yoga teacher, Ayurveda Lifestyle Coach and the creator of the Eat Live Yoga Approach.

I HAVE MORE ENERGY THAN EVER!

Before joining the course I paid less attention to a specific morning and evening routine and I didn’t eat according to my dosha. I felt that I had no time to accomplish things, I sometimes overreacted in difficult situations and I had bad eating habits.

After joining the course I started to build a morning routine, daily meditation and outside walk, daily reading and/or me-time.

I’ve been trying to get to bed earlier (still in progress!), I’ve also adjusted my eating habits to my dosha which means having a warm breakfast, making lunch a main meal and eating a light dinner. I also avoid snacking though this is still in progress! And I introduced many more vegetables into my dishes.

I have also been incorporating more spices and herbs such as cardamom and curcuma and I reduce sugar in my recipes or replace it with maple syrup.

Overall, I have been experiencing more overall energy and better digestion!

I FEEL LESS COLD AND HAVE MORE ENERGY!

Before I joined Aligned & Balanced, I went to bed late and ate a cold breakfast in the morning. I was cold and tired. I also had a shift job and never felt that I was getting enough rest.

After joining Aligned & Balanced, I changed the job with regular times and no work in the evenings so that I can go to bed earlier. I also wake up the same time every morning during week days. I have started to eat more warm food and warm spices.

I am feeling less cold and I have more energy. I have also started to listen more to myself and my needs.

The Eat Live Yoga Approach:

There are 3 sections or ‘pillars’ in Aligned & Balanced – Eat, Live and Yoga.

 

One of my favourite learnings on my Yoga journey was a quote from my Guruji.

“Yoga starts from your kitchen”.

 

He taught that it’s difficult to fully benefit from Yoga on its own, when your mind and body are not nourished and balanced. And that it is through eating the food and living a lifestyle that is unique to your Dosha you will feel the full benefits of Yoga.

 

I have seen and experienced this benefit in my own Yoga practice and lifestyle.

 

Equally, from years of experience in the health and wellbeing industry, I noticed that many of my students were trying to eat healthier and live a healthier lifestyle, but they still lacked energy, and felt unbalanced and unfulfilled in their lives. Usually, when they started incorporating Yoga practice into their daily lives, they also started to feel more balanced, energized and purposeful throughout the day.

 

If you lack energy, feel lost and lack direction in your life on a regular basis, the chances are you are missing one of the pillars in your life. I'm new to Ayurveda… can I still take this course?

 

Yes of course! The first 2 modules will enable you to gain a basic understanding of Ayurveda and the 3 Doshas. You can also ask any questions to myself inside the course!

I'm a complete newbie to Yoga. Can I still join Aligned & Balanced?

 

Yes you can! But I would advise you to take an in-person Yoga class at least once a week if you have never practiced Yoga before, as I won’t be able to give you hands-on adjustments online and it’s useful to have an experienced teacher to guide you when you are a complete newbie to Yoga!

How long do I have access to this course?

 

Forever! You will only need to enroll once and you will have lifetime access to the course materials which I will be updating with new Yoga videos and course materials regularly. However, I would recommend trying to work through the course in 6 weeks (1 module per week) so you don’t lose momentum. 

Which format is the course content delivered in?

 

The course materials are delivered in video content, downloadable audio, written transcription in PDF, printable slides and worksheets. So, whether you prefer to watch, listen or read the content, you’ll be covered! All this is accessible via my interactive online platform.
